Howard Henderson is originally from Port Huron, Michigan and
is a graduate of the University of Michigan. He met his lovely
wife Mariah here and they have been married for 22 years. They
are very proud of their two daughters, Garnet (15) and Addie (12).
Howard moved to Jackson Hole in September, 1980 to pursue a life-long
passion for the sport of snow skiing. A captain of the infamous
Jackson Hole Air Force, Howard worked with Wade McCoy and Bob
Woodahl of Powder Magazine for many years, appearing in numerous
publications including Ski, Skiing, Powder, Outside, Snow Country,
Playboy, The National Enquirer and many Jackson Hole Mountain
Resort advertisements.
Howard's athletic achievements include winning the title of Master
of the Mountain by setting the all-time record for hiking to the
summit of the Jackson Hole Aerial Tram 133 times during the 2006
summer season. That's 550,487 vertical feet and over 900 miles
in 127 days folks!
Howard and Mariah are involved with the community, participating
in Old Bill's Fun Run and PTA. Both volunteer at their daughters'
schools helping students with math and Junior Great Books. When
Howard's father made a run for the County Commission, Howard served
as his campaign manager.
Howard's family and lifestyle are very important to him. Let him
bring this same level of focus and determination to the building
of your dream home or commercial structure.
